The Edison Middle School track teams were back in action at their first home meet of the year as they faced off with Indian Creek and Bishop Mussio. The boy’s team finished 1st overall. They were led by Zack VanGosen who finished 1st in the 100m and 2nd in the 800 and 1600 and Matthew Evans who finished 1st in the 110 hurdles and 2nd in the 200 hurdles and 400. Micah Larkins placed 1st in the 400 and 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Clayton Bokunevitz finished 3rd in the 200 and in the 200 hurdles. JJ Riley captured two 1st place finishes in the shot put and discus while Luke Linscott placed finished 3rd in the shot put and discus. Brayden Hardwick was 2nd in the discus.

The girl’s team finished 3rd overall. Laurel Kemp won the 1600 and placed 3rd in the 800. Josie Lesnansky was 2nd in the 800 and 3rd in the 1600. Lena Wagner was 3rd in the discuss and Kennedy Baker was 3rd in the 400. The girls 4×400 relay team of Wagner, Lesnansky, Kemp, and Izzy Mitchell placed 2nd.
