The Wildcats invaded World War II Memorial Stadium in Yorkville on Tuesday and came away with a hard-fought 39-16 win over the Panthers.
Talan McClurg opened the scoring in the first quarter and went on to tack on 4 more touchdowns to end up with five on the night. Lane Waggoner capped off the scoring with a touchdown in the 4th quarter to ice the game for the Cats. Mason Montgomery was 1 for 3 on extra points with one attempt blocked.
The Cats pushed their record to 5-1 on the season and will look to go 6-1 vs. rival Indian Creek next Wednesday at 5:00 at home on Cartwright Memorial Field.
