The Varsity Girls Cross Country team finished third overall at the Ohio Valley Cross Country League Championship— narrowly edged out of OVCCL runners up by Shadyside. Annie Board, Leila Cable, and Lydia Krepps medaled on the day with their top 20 overall finishing places— each of them also earning a season PR. The Varsity Boys finished 4th overall in a highly competitive field of runners as well. St. Clairsville, Martins Ferry, and Bellaire captured 1st-third overall team finishes ahead of the Wildcats. Jayden Sciance, Kolton Decker, and Nate Kline medaled on the day. The Junior High Boys were led by OVCCL champion Josiah Filburn, followed by Michael Kline (3rd), Levi Call, and Jaxon Sciance. All Junior High boys earned medals for their top 25 finishing places. Kenzi Call was 11th overall in the Junior High girls race and medaled as well. The future looks great!
