The Edison Wildcats girls cross country team kept their winning tradition alive Saturday, October 10, battling fierce competition from Oak Glen to claim their fourth consecutive OVAC Class 4A title! The Wildcats delivered a strong team performance, led by three top-10 Class 4A finishers. Senior Annie Board led Edison with a 20:58, followed by senior Leila Cable in 22:04 and junior Lydia Krepps in 22:13. But this championship took more than three strong finishes. With Oak Glen challenging the Wildcats throughout the race, every place mattered. Layla White (23:27) and Hallie Westbrook (23:30) delivered crucial finishes to round out Edison’s scoring five and help secure the team victory. Four consecutive OVAC titles are a testament to the consistency, determination, and team-first mentality that have  become the foundation of Edison girls cross country.
